While our young artists will be creating art based on the theme of Candy Land Art, creative parents will spend some time with their kids, while also getting their own time to shine at our studio!

During our 6 classes together, each class being one-and-a-half hours in length, our parent artists will explore their creativity while improving their artistic self-confidence. We will tailor the course around the themes and mediums of interest to the creative parents participating.

The options of mediums we will be creating with are the following:

  • Acrylics

  • Watercolours

  • Air-dry clay

  • Pastels

The learning and creating will be led by a certified teacher, artist, and author.

The classes will take place in a real visual arts studio at the Nepean Creative Arts Centre in Bells Corners. (35 Stafford Rd.)

Spaces are limited, as there is a maximum of 14 students per course.

Previous art experience is not required.

Students will receive direct instruction and personalized guidance throughout every class to learn, to build-on new skills, to improve their techniques, and to grow their self-confidence.

At the end of the course, we will celebrate our artists' creative expression with our very special Juice and Cheese Art Expo where all of their beautiful artwork will be showcased in a gallery-like setting. Students will have the opportunity of sharing this wonderful experience with family and friends. Following the student exhibit, all artwork may be brought home. The Juice and Cheese Art Expo is included in the course fee, and the date and time of the Expo will be communicated once the course is in session.
